I don't understand the conservatives against streaming in video when they are all over the internet. It's their services for crying out loud. That's like having the mentality that the gun kills rather than the person using it.

Pretty good observation.

I once served as an usher (money collector, passer of the plate) at a camp meeting. One of the other ushers passed on a message to me from the higher ups that I was to confiscate any cell phones if I observed anyone videoing the service. I told them no. Fast forward fifteen years.

Today, and for several years, the same church, same leadership, is on Facebook and YouTube, as well as Zoom. YouTube was evil, and they preached against it. Now they have YouTube accounts, which is kind of like endorsing it. They have painted themselves into the proverbial corner.

Why you ask? Maybe it’s like Biden saying you couldn’t the virus if you’ve been vaccinated. “It was true at the time.”

Or maybe they’ve figured out how to monetize it.

With the same logic if some of us were back in Biblical times, we'd frown at Paul preaching on Mars Hill...

During covid shut down and the opportunity to get funds thru
websites, facebook, etc. Nobody should blame any church for
implementing this but also goes to show u that no matter who it is or what
they claim to be they have a breaking point when it comes to money.
