It's not funny to mock folk's faith, even if you think they are wacky or misguided. We need to be careful not to mock the things of God even in those that act differently then we might act.

Your absolutely right. I see nothing these people are doing in terms of physical worship that doesn't go on in all sorts of Pentecostal Churches. Their music probably isn't up to date according to the typical UPC church, but I imagine that their doing the best they can with what they have, which is what matters to God. Not everyone can afford to be ritzy as it relates to their appearance and to be critical of these people just based on these external things is a gross form of pride.

If we can't laugh at ourselves (or some of the ignorance in old time Pentecost) what can we laugh at?

Not actually seeing it has my imagination going wild. I will say this; I have seen things in old time Pentecost that if televised would make any shame or dishonor Borat brought on old time Pentecost look tame. We can do it to ourselves better than anybody else.
