Broken Heart

Admin please move if this is the wrong location.

I read this article twice and only could think that I want to be open to anyone to offer them the Gospel. I just kept thinking I wish I could have reached this soul.

The truth is I know people just like him. How do we know God calls us to witness about our salvation and when do we do it? The Apostles just pushed on ahead. I guess that is a great example.

God help me to say the right things when I meet them.

Our school systems are corrupt. Yes this finish with a rant about whether we send our children to the worldly schools to learn about ........ OE we keep the close and have church schools. I for one want church schools. We have no business letting the state educate out children.

I saw that article also and thought, that even though the whole of society bent over backward to help this kid transition from boy to girl, he still committed suicide.
Nothing anyone did to try to accommodate him made him happy. In our society, people are so entrenched in sinful behavior that without the conviction of the Holy Ghost, we will never in our own power be able to help people.

To be effective in reaching people with the gospel, we have to be a channel for the flow of the Spirit, or we might wound with the sword without offering healing balm.
2 Corinthians 3:6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant-not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
We need prayer and fasting with love as the motivation:
Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
1 Corinthians 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
