Warning to All
 

As the election process continues to grow, more and more posts and posters from this section are being reported to the Admin team, and in most cases, the reports are justified, because some of you are out of line, not only with the rules, but with general good Christian conduct.

We are not here to babysit or hold the hands of grown men who ought to know how to conduct themselves in a Godly way.

Be as passionate and forthright as you want about your candidate, but stop disregarding obvious Biblical mandates on how to treat each other.

We commonly receive reports of people calling each other out as liars and slanderers. It has become a regular occurrence these past few weeks. There are only three Admins currently. We simply cannot read every single post in every single section. And we certainly cannot go into every reported post and comment, respond, or take action. Hence this post, for all to see at once.

So, if you all please, please refrain from the personal attacks and accusations. If you cannot interact peaceably with your fellow believer in Jesus, then you will be forced to stop interacting with them.

It seems that you are more concerned with someone calling people out for their lies and slanders than you are about the lies and slanders themselves.

We care about members here interacting in ways that glorify the Savior. Much of what happens here in the Politics Section is ad hominem nonsense that shouldn't be once named among the saints.

If at any time anyone who posts in this area feels like they need to go off on someone and call them out, why not just hold that thought and go and pray and ask the Lord if it's really worth it, and if there is going to be anything edifying to come of it, or if you can merely let it go and forgive?

This is again becoming a problem, or perhaps stated better, is becoming a worsening problem.

If you are at odds with someone over political issues, resolve yourself to at least be "kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake, has forgiven you" (Ephesians 4:32). Personal attacks are for the devil, not for brethren!

Short of this, infractions will be given, and bans eventually handed out.

So, if that's not something you want, make the above happen.
