The Validity of Salvation

There are many different theories
among Christians and even them written about in the bible
as to exactly how one obtains the Salvation of God.

How do you validate which one is the correct one?

1"Your heart must not be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me. 2In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if not, I would have told you.

i think this passage indicates that there is no "correct one" from a human standpoint; and there are other passages that corroborate this.

How did you validate this as being the truth?

Re: The Validity of Salvation

well, by testing God, of course; i stepped off of the cliff, and God caught me. I was doing my best to disprove God, but just could not make Scripture of no effect. I know that explanation is rather nebulous, and i apologize, but explaining the mechanics of it would hardly suffice any better. I guess i can try, though; briefly, i was a successful insurance agent, like $1500 a week for 30 hours work, and came to see how insurance insulates people from God, and so i quit and started volunteering full time. So then i lost everything, of course--all of the "essential" things that...insulate one from God :lol

Sin insulates you from God. Is it a sin to have anything that
insulates you from God?

Isn't this self evident?

Just do what Jesus and his apostles said to do, and you'll get what they said you'll get.

amen! Although i have yet to meet a religionist who has left their life, no extra clothes or wallet, in search of God, to their families' chagrin. Doesn't mean they don't exist though.

hmm. you might be right there. i have met some, but they were all heretics. I wonder if the Apostles were all married, or some single, or what? Can't think of a single ref in this area, hmm.
