An urgent need.
A brother in the lord named Tony has had a massive heart attack. He had very little circulation for so long that he may lose his feet and hands. Very strange. They had to put him in an induced coma.
Let's pray that this will not happen. Thank you. |
Re: An urgent need.
I have heard of this happening before. I think it has something to do with a drug that they give when someone is having a heart attack, and one of its side effects causes the loss of function in the limbs as you mentioned. I have a relative who this happened to, and I am fearful that it may be the very same thing that has happened to your brother in the Lord. Will certainly be praying that the Lord will undertake, and heal him, despite the dreadful prognosis he has.

Re: An urgent need.
If you can, find out which drugs were given when they first began to help him at the hospital or ambulance. This may be a side effect from one of those drugs. I can't remember the name of that particular drug. My family member suffered the loss of both his arms and legs after his heart attack, and it is believed because of a side effect from the drug, which potentially saved his life, but caused loss of his limbs.
I pray for your friend that he will fully recover with no side effects! |

Re: An urgent need.
Will try to get an update today. If he still has his limbs he may have weathered the storm.
K.B.W not sure what drugs were used but could be the ones that cause the blood to stay in the upper body. I'm getting 2nd and 3rd hand info. |
Re: An urgent need.
Update on Bro. Tony. He is home but pretty much stuck in a wheel chair. He did not lose any limbs but cannot use his hands as of yet. Can't walk either. Insurance problems now and home health care needed.
