Important prayer request
 

Our nine year old daughter, who has had no serious health issues, has suddenly broken out with major spider veins all over her thighs up to her waist line. She feels fine and is in no pain. The doctor is set to see her tomorrow. We'd appreciate prayer. Thanks.

I will certainly be praying, both for your daughter, and for the doctors to have wisdom to get to the bottom of what could be causing the symptoms. Don't just settle for them treating the symptoms, persist in trying to find out what could be the cause. Will be praying! Please keep us posted!

Turns out they are stretch marks. I'm baffled as to their magnitude and sudden appearance. She has had no major weight loss or gain. The doctor says not to worry. Thanks to all for the prayers.

good to hear. i was going to say that i have dry skin, and it can appear as similar to spider veins when inflamed. Some kind of skin soother, aloe or something, and they usually disappear in an hour.

Kinda hard to "not worry" with something so unusual. I would definitely try coconut oil, or something similar on her skin to see if that helps. If it doesn't get better, you might see a dermatologist.
