Saint Patrick's Day

Any thoughts out there on St. Patrick's Day?

Should this be celebrated in the apostolic churches?
I believe it's a Roman Catholic and
Anglican "thing" but I'm not sure.

I'll do some more research on it.

I don't know why it would be celebrated by the church.

I think the same as you,
but some think differently and I like to know why.

I believe that St. Patrick's Day is an issue of personal conviction... and an issue of absolute necessity for us Irish saints of God. lol

It does celebrate the advent of Christianity being preached to the Irish for the first time.

(I'm a Restorationist.) :)

It involves some fantastic stories like driving snakes out. Personally I believe this is a RCC political move to try to make Ireland a RCC bastion the way they did with south America and their 'indianized' Virgin Mary
