He's probably from the days before music was identified as Salsa.
Might be some good dance numbers though.

Re: Bro. Claude Ely

When I hear that trumpet sound,
I'm gonna get up out of the ground
for there ain't no grave
gonna hold my body down.

I think of a couple of things when I hear this.

In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 we have (if you are a dispensationalist) some words of the Apostle Paul about a future event, the Rapture, and in there he says that those who are asleep in Jesus will come with Him, the dead in Christ shall arise, and we which are alive shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Some believe (Bishop G.T. Haywood, F.E. Curts, S.G. Norris, and others) that this is one of the installments of the first resurrection.

I also think of the Job, who believed in and looked forward to a resurrection from the dead. In chapter 14 verses 7-15 and in chapter 19 verses 25-27 he said:
7 For there is hope for a tree,
If it is cut down, that it will sprout again,
And that its tender shoots will not cease.
8 Though its root may grow old in the earth,
And its stump may die in the ground,
9 Yet at the scent of water it will bud
And bring forth branches like a plant.
10 But man dies and is laid away;
Indeed he breathes his last
And where is he?
11 As water disappears from the sea,
And a river becomes parched and dries up,
12 So man lies down and does not rise.
Till the heavens are no more,
They will not awake
Nor be roused from their sleep.
13 Oh, that You would hide me in the grave,
That You would conceal me until Your wrath is past,
That You would appoint me a set time, and remember me!
14 If a man dies, shall he live again?
All the days of my hard service I will wait,
Till my change comes.
15 You shall call, and I will answer You;
You shall desire the work of Your hands. (Job 14:7-15 NKJV)

25 For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth;
26 And after my skin is destroyed, this I know,
That in my flesh I shall see God,
27 Whom I shall see for myself,
And my eyes shall behold, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me! (Job 19:25-27 NKJV)

Then in the last verse of the Book of Job, chapter 42 verse 17, it closes with, "So Job died, being old and full of days, and it is written that he will rise again with those whom the Lord raises up." LXX
