Yeah the metanarrative goes beyond sports.

He rebounded, made his way back, worked hard, earned other's respect and trust, got another chance and has thrived ever since. He's a different athlete.

as a cowboy fan, I sure wish MV had come back a Brown or a Buc.... it hearts my heart to see the dreaded Eagles doing well...

I like what I am seeing from MV both on and off the field... well off anyway. Its never good to see an Eagle fan happy! LOL!
