Earth Hour Nonsense
I don't know who this guy is but I like what he says at CFP.
It has the rest of the article as well as a satellite pic of North Korea at night. http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/21424 It’s Always “Earth Hour” in North Korea For all those Green morons calling on us to turn off our lights Saturday evening from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM to celebrate “Earth Hour”, this is what it looks like every night in North and South Korea. The North is in the grip of a Stalinist dictator and the South is a thriving democracy. Like fire, electricity is truly a gift of the gods. It is the difference between the Dark Age and the present age…but not for everyone. Much of Africa is in darkness. too. People who hate civilization and the humans who created it are welcome to live out in the wilderness or in some primitive backward country where they burn dung to cook their meals. Earth Hour, what a bunch of nonsense! Don't dither over that which God has cursed. |
Re: Earth Hour Nonsense
I don't think there's anything wrong with being a good steward of our resources, or increasing our frugality by reducing our consumption. And in my life I'm learning to live more simply anyway, so it fits. I spent the hour reading Amish Peace by lantern light. It's a book about how Christians can benefit from applying Amish principals of simplicity to their own lives.

Re: Earth Hour Nonsense
I also try to be a good steward of resources but that does not mean I have turned my brain off and am not aware of the humanist agenda to deify the earth and elevate it above man.
It also does not mean I am not aware of the junk science that promotes the idea of man made climate change. Recent events have proven many proponents of climate change (previously known as global warming until the warming stopped) are willing to outright lie and fabricate data while ignoring other data to promote their theories. I am proud to say all lights were blazing in the CC1 household last night as a protest to the eco alarmists. |

Re: Earth Hour Nonsense
Not only did I NOT participate in Earth Hour but I burnt far more electricity then normal since I brought 16 MacBooks home from work in order to run updates on them (my net connection is 10 times faster then our schools).

Re: Earth Hour Nonsense
I didn't realize ecology was such an upsetting issue to Apostolics. We were put here to tend the garden after all. And it's really just common sense. Do you want to breathe smog and drink polluted water?
