Sounds like you only need to worry if you live in a border town next to Mexico. Mexico is rapidly deteriorating into a lawless badland. I would not be surprised to see the government collapse completely.

I have NOT crossed over into Mexico, not in ten years. I hear Mark Levin cry about the border problem everyday driving home from work.

Yeah, Mexico is going to collapse. We need to beef up the border security. Stop by the local mall and you see Mercedes Benz.. BMW... Jag... etc... the high end vehicles... not the cheap 36K models... with Mexico license plates. Drug money...! :)

I didn't notice how big the drug war is, until moving down here.

The chaos that grips Mexico is going to spil over into Texas. The Mexican gvt might as well be collapsed for all the impact it has. It might be time to bite the bullet and bolster the border patrol with the army.

The had been announcing, for a couple of weeks, that all Spring Breakers need to stay away from the border towns and Mexico.

I heard on the radio last week where The Annointed One has stopped funding that high tech virtual border fence Boeing had won a contract to build.

The excuse is technical difficulties and it failing some tests but I am wondering how they will ever work out the bugs if funding is stopped. Sounds to me like just an excuse to allow future Democrat / Socialist voters across the border.

There is an all out push to count illegal aliens this census (this is first hand information as I am very close to an executive with the Census) which I believe is the first step. The second step will be to grant them amnesty and then of course the final step is granting them citizenship with the right to vote Democrat the rest of their lives as a thank you. Obama has already said that immigration reform is very high on his list of things to do.

There is nothing the US government can do, unless we are willing to condemn ourselves for what we already condemn the Israelis for doing - to protect their borders! Maybe that is one of the reasons we halted our own ‘fence building project’, in addition to the poor government management of the project.

Texas colleges were out for spring break this week. Even the Island had a poor turnout. :foottap
