3 steppers
This is for the 3 steppers how do you explain
Romans 10:9 |
Re: 3 steppers
That one is simple. Romans is written to "those called to be saints"; the church. It deals with the necessary belief in the resurrection of Jesus for a child of God to be saved.
It is addressed in other epistles as well. As the church grew and people came into the church, some carried the baggage of past beliefs, such as the belief in no resurrection. It is also dealt with in 1 Thess. 4:13-18. |
Re: 3 steppers
Chtatum I read that and it says the dead in christ will rise first are those the unsaved people going up first....

Paul didn't stop at verse 31. 31And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. 33And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. In verse 32 it seems Paul did a little preaching or teaching, then in the next verse, they were baptized. I do not see support for one-stepper theology. |
Re: 3 steppers
They were saved before baptism or paul would of said "believe on the lord and get baptised" and you shalt be saved....pretty one step to me unless you are telling me that the water physically washes your sins away...which I really don't think happens.....
