This is one of my kids favorites that I make-- no special occasion needed.

Homemade trail mix

2 cans of cashews
1 can of salted peanuts (or honey roasted peanuts if you prefer)
2 cans of roasted almonds (Or 1 bag of fisher plain almonds)
1/2 lb-1 lb of pecan halves
1 bag milk chocolate chips
1 bag butterscotch chips
1 bag peanut butter chips
1 bag white chocolate chips
1 bag M&M's
1 large box golden raisins

Mix well & store in airtight container. Will keep for quite a while if you store it in a cool place so that the chocolate items don't melt.
