Praying! I have friends who will also be going to Nigeria to minister soon. Actually a friend's dad and another friend's dad (two separate trips). I've never been there, but would love to go. Someone told me that 80% of the population of Africa lives in the small country of Nigeria!

Nigeria is a cool country...but that stat sounds a bit skewered to me :)

What would be a more reliable number then?

It has the largest population, but would probably be closer to 1/10 of the entire population of the continent. It does have some pretty modern cities. Lagos is a huge metropolis where you can find pretty much all the modern conveniences you need. I'm not sure the exact nature of this trip and whether he will be going out into the interior areas or staying around the main cities. Is this your husbands first trip? Is he going in conjunction with the UPC or any other organization?

Well, I thought it sounded a bit out of balance, but the person telling me acted like she knew what she was talking about. But then again, I'm pretty gullible. LOL!
