Bro. Paul Sanders passes away
 

Bro. Paul Sanders, a UPC minister from Tennessee passed away early Friday (Oct 10) morning. Bro. Sanders was originally from Mississippi where he had pastored earlier in his ministry. He spent many years in the Tennessee District pastoring churches in Dyersburg, Humboldt, Camden and Smithville. He was very active in the District and was one of the beloved Camp Cooks for many years. Those who knew him knew him to have a sense of humor as he loved joking around and playing pranks. He was steadfast in his faith, even through suffering tremendously the past several years of his life.

Services were held Saturday at the Smithville UPC church where he last pastored, having resigned last year due to failing health. His body will be taken to Iuka, Mississippi for a visitation on Sunday at the Pentecostal Church of Iuka from noon until two, followed by burial.

Please keep his wife, Sis. Gaye Sanders, son Jonathan and all the family and friends in prayer.

My life was made better by having known Bro. Paul Sanders. He and Sis. Gaye are very special friends to me and my family.

I hadn't heard this!! I remember so many good times with him laughing and cutting up in the camp kitchen! What a great guy. I hadn't seen them for many years though.

Dear Lord God,

We humbly ask that You would bring peace and comfort to Bro. Paul Sanders
wife and family! Lord, although I never knew this dear man, he was my brother
in Christ. Bless all those whose lives were enriched by the ministry of Bro. Paul
Sanders, in Jesus Name!
