Can A Person Overeat Pork Everyday & Be Saved?

Looking at the turn that my smoking thread has taken, I want to pose the question... Is it possible for a person to be saved, filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost and still overeat on pork, red meat and other foods which are known as high fat and are deemed as being unhealthy in our society? Can you overeat on those things everyday and still have the Holy Ghost dwelling within you?

An elder who BTW never ate pork said this, "it isn't against God's law to eat pork, but if you do, you just might get to heaven quicker!":D

I think all pork, catfish, shrimp, lobster, crab legs, and anything else expressly forbidden in the OT dietary laws should be immediately banned in this country. In fact, laws should be passed making the eating of those things a felony. Furthermore, any product that contains any form of produced sweetener in it should also be banned and criminalized, along with any food that is either deep fried or pan fried. Lastly, boiling broccolli until it turns yellow needs to be added to this list because it's disgusting. I have spoken.

Just curious, Rico..... Have you banned all of these things from YOUR diet yet?

Any way to add warmed-over macaroni and cheese to this? I only like it fresh.
