SIL Lost Job With Wife 7 Months Pregnant

My son in law just lost his job due to his company pulling out of the Tennessee market.

His wife, my daughter, is seven months pregnant with her first child and now they are facing this.

They have lost their insurance coverage and will have to get Cobra coverage at a very expensive price to get through the pregnancy.

They also have been leasing a wonderful little house that my daughter was looking forward to bringing her baby home to and now that is in question as they may have to move in with us for a couple of months if he does not find a new job ASAP.

Please pray for my SIL's job search and my daughter's state of mind. She is very upset over this turn of events as this is a particularly emotional time for her in her pregnancy.

The SIL has a Masters Degree in Business and is finding that many times he is considered "over qualified" for the jobs that are available.

I know the feeling accept it is being under qualified...lol.

I do feel for him. Nothing like losing an income let alone the only income. That is not good. God certainly will keep His hand and eye over them.

I went through that a lot! I think it is harder to get a job you are over qualified for than one you are not even qualified for.

God is able to do a quick work and I pray He will!

Do you think the crime of his two laptops had anything to do with their decision?

I don't have a degree but with my experience it often prices me out of a lower paying position because of being "overqualified!"

I will be in prayer fer sure as I have walked in those shoes.
What is his first name?

CC, praying here. I am also praying for peace in your daughter's mind. I'll pray that she can keep her stress level down in this critical time of pregnancy. I know it doesn't feel that way now, but all the situations they are facing are temporal and will not even be a serious memory 10 years from now. The most important and only lasting thing in their situation is the health and well-being of their child. It all will work out and they will be stronger for it.

God Bless
