Asian Challenge and Opportunity

I thought I would post this on AFF, many of you helped us get to India earlier this year.

Dear friends,
Can you envision a world class city that has tremendous influence and is at the crossroads of the continents of Australia , India and Asia . I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity God has presented to me. During May 24 – June1, I will be going to Singapore , with Elizabeth and baby David.
Our trip will focus on empowering and equipping believers in this area of the world the purpose of our trip is fourfold:

First, we will be allowing God to work in our lives through the personal enrichment that comes from this type of a mission trip.

Second, this mission’s effort will help to equip these believers in how to minister effectively through the Gifts of the Spirit and their authority as believers. We will pray for the majority Buddhist and Hindu people that God may open their eyes and hearts to the message of Jesus.

Third, we will be visiting an area where less than 17% are Christian.

Fourth, we will encourage local saints in the local church. Our presence will bolster their spirits and support their work. We will develop relationships and grow our network with the Christians in this region.

I'm excited about the opportunity and experience that lie ahead. I hope you see the value in what we will accomplish. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. I need to raise $2500 by May1st. If you can support me in a financial way, I would be very grateful.

And, most importantly, I also need your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God's leading in ministry in these countries. Without prayer, nothing will happen.

If you would like to be part of this mission through your financial support, send a check to: Central Valley Christian Center c/o Singapore Trip. Also I have a Paypal account set up under my email address: keithhim@yahoo.com.
All contributions are tax deductible.

While money is important, it comes in a distant second to my need for your prayer support. Since prayer support is so important to the success of this mission, I would like to know if I can count on you in that area.

Let me know what you can do to help, again note pledges of support will not have to be paid until May 1st.

Because they haven't heard,
Pastor Keith

Singapore is a fantastic city! TB has been there more than once.

Are you familiar with the Willoughbys' ministry there? They have a fantastic work going!

What's up with the Paltalk idea and teaching on the gifts?

BTW do you know where I can get what you were gonna teach from the CLC curriculum to teach that here in a bible study?

Still going to do it, I have had some computer and network problems. I have finally solved most of it, anyway for the curriculum call CLC college and ask the book store, they will send it to you.

Just who will you be working with while you are over there? I give a hearty "Amen" about the Willoughby's...some of the finest Christians I know!

An independent oneness pastor, I will refrain from saying who, would like to get their permission first. But he is a great guy, very educated and leads a great congregation.

Ask Steve Willoughby if he remembers Eddie Cupples. Of course, most of the time that they were friends, I don't think Eddie was really living for God. On second thought, maybe you shouldn't ask him that. Hmmmm......:toofunny

Tell Eddie, I was listening to his CD on Three Words, Three Questions the other day, my mother was with me, she asked who that was, I told Eddie Cupples. She wanted to know what Eddie's Father the missionary with Bro. Freeman when he had the accident.

By the way that was a great study/lesson!
