Bishop Weeks New Book "What Love Taught Me"

Do you think he stepped over the line in writing this book and his comments on You Tube? Should he keep what happened in his marriage private?

Or does he have the right to clarify what has been said about him?

By the way, I am not promoting this book--even if it resembles a book promo--it's NOT! :)

Bishop Bobby Brown. "There is an unnamed third party that caused my ghetto fabulous wife to rebel against me and that's why I beat her up in public. Let me share with you why I'm such a jerk and maybe Satan won't destroy you too."

I can hardly listen to guys that position themselves as so 'sincere' and slick. Makes my skin crawl.

I support Bishop Weeks decision to release "What Love Taught Me?"

I am a supporter of Juanita Bynum, but I know there are TWO sides to every story. Even tragic sad ones like this one...

My prayers are with them both...

So is there a parallel between Bobby Brown and Bishop Weeks??

I havent heard anyone say that before about Bishop Weeks, I find that interesting-

I find it more like appaling.

Bobby Brown is druggie who can't stay outta trouble, legal trouble. And Whitney has enabled him all those years to be the jerk he is.

Bishop Weeks is a man of God who got caught up in a marriage to a woman of God who, anointed she is, used of God, but is caught up with the fame of it all and is willing to sacrifice anything to have it.

Even her marraige....

Like I said, there are TWO sides to every story.

Prophetess gave hers, and its only fair Bishop gives his, too....

I realize there are three sides to every story. There's what he said, there's what she said and there's what REALLY happened. These two people are products of their own egos spurred on by a celebrity Christian culture. I feel bad for them both. The whole thing is sad, and repugnant.

Did you watch the video?

He said, JB was in a meeting and told the congergation to call out BTW name and then she said she was coming home-

I do think there needs some clarity- He should have his moment to explain his side--after all I think he has lost everything over this whole event.

No, I have dial up (isn't that horrid?) so watching videos is out.

I remember he tried to release the book without the addition a few months back and that is when he publicly apologized to his wife.

I saw that at the library and cried like a baby!

I believe it was heart felt. They both still love one another.

I tell you one thing; I wouldn't let ministry, media, popularity or anything tear up my marriage....ahem, that is, if I still had one....

You live and you learn....it takes two.

Sad....

NO ministry is worth your family....

Could you explain this more? How is their failed very public marriage repugnant? (great word btw, I just dont know what you mean)

I do believe a lot of the down fall of their marriage was do to with some of the celebrity element and how they were unable to handle the stress of (really her) public life and their private life together-
