Peak 2011

PEAK youth convention is next week July 20-22 in Tulsa. The speakers are Tim Joiner, Rick Mayo, Bradley Smith, Zach Wells, and BJ Wilmoth. It'll be interesting to see if the crowd will be larger than previous year's considering that it's two weeks before UPC Youth Congress.

Constipatedapostolic,

Are you going? If so can you give us reports from the convention?

I'm not going to PEAK, but am going to NAYC in Columbus in 2 weeks. Looking forward to worshiping with 22,000-25,000 young people.

Does it really matter whether there is 20, 25 thousand or 500 ?

My brother, sister-in-law, and a young man who attends our church when he can are out there this week. We are hoping that he will come back with the Holy Ghost. We baptized him in Jesus' name last year. I would have liked to have gone, but I could not afford to. I am planning on going to Summit next year though.

Thanks, we found it. I've never been to the Spirit Bank Event Center before--that's a great place to have a conference. Lots of shopping and food around within walking distance. :thumbsup
