Hunger is building @ FPC Slidell, La

A hunger for more of God is growing rapidly at the First Pentecostal Church in Slidell, La.

A deep groaning within is building in the body causing holy living to become acutely deepened in individuals.
:chat
A hunger for more instruction in the word along with a deepening awareness to reach the lost is swelling.

I used to go that Church 45 years ago when Bro. Fred K. Hyde was Pastor and still there when Bro. Mack Sterling pastored. That church was a very special place for me. I am so glad to hear this good news.

Who is the Pastor now.

I didn't see that. I have not been on here for a long time.

Still, I would love to know how everyone there is doing.

It's the old "the big revival is just around the corner" that has been preached over and over again.

Didn't Slidell, Louisiana just go through a terrible time with the hurricanes this past season? Seems like I remember them being in the news.

Revival is not a word in the KJV ... maybe "revival" isn't happening because it was never something mentioned in the Word....

The word revive, revived, and reviving are in my Strong's, but no revival.... :hmmm

Ok, just finished eating a tuna sub. I shouldn't be hungry again for another few hours.

Donald Bryan has been the pastor there since 1983 - awesome man, and a personal friend. That's a great church.

Thank you sir, I appreciate the information.
Like I said, that is the church I went to as a young lady and I know that most if not all of the people I knew there are probably not there anymore.
Still, to me that was my home church and it has a special place in my heart.

Thanks again,

Helen Febus
