the government just put electricity part of the way...the further back you go the more remote it gets.

Yesterday the chief (my son's friend) would not let us go further back because the indians were dangerous yesterday...yet he pleaded with my son to some back into their area and help them...but that takes money...so sad to see people forever lost in the darkness of paganism...because of lack of funds to reach them...

these lands have many animals such as tapir, deer, emu, boar, paca, cutia, fox, snakes, monkeys, and many others.

It is just amazing to me what a land of contrasts Brazil has to be. You have big modern cities where any of us would feel as comfortable as if we were still in the USA. And then you have places like this. Amazing.
