Violence once again stikes our Family!
 

My Brother-in-law Michael was robbed thursday by bandits right outside a bank! They took him hostage for a while and then left him in the middle of the sugar cane fields far from the city. They took all his credit cards, money that he had just got out of the bank, and the Alvear´s Caravan. He is still a little sore from where they hit him in the arm and on his side. We are praying that the Lord keep His hand on us because in the van was bussiness cards from the church that have our address and a remote control to get into the gate. We desire very much so your prayers!

As I read more of the news and about things that are going on in our city there is more vehicles being robbed almost every day. I myself desire your special prayers for my car as I cannot afford insurance. I go into places where there is hungry souls waiting to hear the Word of the Lord but also into, as you could say, a beehive of drugs, alcohol, prostitution, and bandits. But what is one to do? I have to go into the darkness to bring forth light unto the darkness. Just the other day a man went into the market with his wife and when he came back out his car was gone! I always pray that the Lord would keep me and I know that He does but in this time I especially covet your prayers. May the Lord bless those who I know already lift us up in prayer and also those who will begin to pray.

While me and michael was in the police station I overheard an elder lady talking to the police. She said that someone had stolen her donkey! She had documents for it and everything. It was really the only thing of value that she owned. I thought, my Lord what is this world coming to where even your donkey isn´t safe from the neighbor down the road. God be with us all!

We have been under great perscution from every side however GREAT have been the victories. I recieved word that in South Brazil at one of the churches over 20 people recieved the HG this past weekend. At a local ministers meeting in just one area they had over 100 ministers present...a trinity preacher was baptized in Jesus name...

No wonder the devil and all his helpers would like to stop us...however we as a family will stand for right and keep on preaching Jesus to this lost world. The devil would like to get our eyes off the eternal to the passing things...He would like for us to stop building...but we refuse to listen to Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites and whoever would like to stop the work of God.

The scripture the Lord gave me lately is:

Our God will fight for us." NEHEMIAH 4:20


And that He is doing in an awesome way...

The Feast of the Tabernacles, when Israel dwelt in booths made of tree boughs to remind them that they were simply strangers and pilgrims on earth.

A month ago we had 2 cars..the Caravan and the Meriva...now we have none...we were in Brazil now we are in a Spanish area preaching...and baptized one Sunday...

We do not have internet where we are staying but we are in town right now and have found a place to check our e mails and browse on the net for a little while.

We were very shocked at what happened but are thankful no one was killed. With all the great victories in Brazil no wonder the devil wants to get rid of us...

Brother there is humor in some of the things that happen in this world and, I think it comes from God so that we can laugh at the devil in his face while we triumph over all the trials and win the end race.
