Hey buddy!

Did you know the baby milk just went over $4.00 a gallon today??

I understand they pump it in advance then store it for future use.

:ursofunny

It went over $4 a couple of weeks ago around here. I haven't checked on it since the last time I was out, so I don't know where it is today.

It's nice living in a dairy state. The milk I buy is just over $3 a gallon. Might start putting that in my van instead of gas!

Those things always look to me like they were designed by two escaped mental patients, one drunk, one hung over, and their pet chimpanzee using an orange juice carton and a pair of first-grade safety scissors.

But I'm glad YOU like it! :highfive :laffatu

There's no accounting for taste! :rolleyes2

I understand the initial version with the inline 5 is capable of 25 or 26 mpg.

What does Kristin think about this new van?

Whooo weeee bro.

That is one ugly van. LOL

One big plus is that you won't have to worry about anyone stealing it. And it is a good thing you don't live where they have subdivision rules etc. They might take a vote and force you to keep it under wraps. :)

What is it for?

Work?

Family?

Scaring off small varmints?

LOL

Yes the newer ones are a V-6. They can get 24 empty, but outfitted I am going to be thrilled to get 19 - 20 mpg.

UGLY? No Way! But for the grace of God I would catch myself being tempted to worship it....

I can't believe you think she is ugly! Look at her cute little ears... She is just a doll.

This van will be used in my LLC (Chimney Service Co.) While Kristin has an interest in the LLC, I happen to be the Manager. :) (The reverse is true concerning our homeschool):runhills

Speaking of small animals... I am off to investigate a fireplace/chimney that is acting as a door for a family of racoons... they came in for the third time last night and rumaged though the pantry.

Should I take the new van?

It is currently limited to dairy farms, but think of the possibilties...

Steve, I like ya, dude. And I usually respect your opinion whether I agree or not.

but I gotta tell you - this van is just plain dog-ugly! I'm glad YOU like it :reaction

Enjoy your new toy, my friend. It looks top heavy to me, so be careful in it. We like you here. Sure hate to see anything happen.

Very nice. Just make sure to keep it a MAN van! No car seats..... Or little boxes of tissue between the seats. Or dry cereal from the kids on the floor.....
Ever consider having a Molly Hatchet album cover painted on the side?

Probably not. The effect would only be temporary. Once you and the van returned home the raccoons would only return.

Perhaps you could rent out a life size cut out of the van. :)

Lying is a sin, you sure you hate heavy metal?:hmmm

BTW, I am happy for your new van acquisition however, I do agree that it is a little on the homely side.
Perhaps it will look better with your new grapics?:hypercoffee

Ok, I'm the weirdo here I guess, but I actually like this van. I think it's cute. I'm sure Stephen won't want to hear that it's "cute", as that is the one word my husband NEVER wants to hear to describe anything that belongs to him. But it's my word of choice.

THIS needs to be airbrushed on the side! No "sissyfication" allowed!

Since it's my "baby" she can be cute.

BTW I can stand up inside the van. (I am 5' 8") It is the same length and 8" taller than my full sized Chevy Express.

I am pretty sure he bought this van as a work van, so he was interested more in fuction than style. One good thing about that van is he doesn't have to worry about it rolling completely over. Them things are high enough that a feller could stand up in it and still have room over his head! :)
