Well, if LS ever wanted to make a cool million dollars all he would have to do is prove he has this ability to "feel confusion" if women have cut hair. James Randi will set up and administer the double blind test.

If I were a women and my pastor brought in this teaching, I am sure I would be extremely confused, whether I cut my hair or not.

But it wouldn't last too long, because I would be seeking the Lord about a different pastor.

Yes, that is the real "confusion".

Because he is so popular is a warning sign. Just Google his Web Site. It reeks of HIM.

His messages are boring and canned. He says the same thing everywhere he goes, looking for the "Response". He's addicted to reaction, constantly railing the congregation to "Clap for the Lord" or to do a standing ovation for the women who don't cut their hair.

He's the Benny Hinn of the Apostolic Movement.

After hearing several messages by him I quickly noticed the exact same stories, often with near-exact wording and even the same tongue talking. Now this is mostly to be expected if your preaching from the same outline as you travel across the country but he has been doing it for years. And your right that he requires constant audible feedback as he "teaches" and is constantly having the congregations stand and give hand claps. Once you notice this the first time (and it doesn't take long) is is extremely annoying.

Does the term "egomaniac" come to mind?

Could his ministry be considered a "canned act" or a "performance"?

I know this is none of my business but I just have to wonder what kind of income that man is bringing in every year.

I am thinking more and more of George Cloonies character from his film Up in the Air when I think of LS. I am 99% sure I ran into him at O'hare airport in Chicago but didn't say anything (if it wasn't him it was as much of a twin as any clone seen in any sci-fi movie), because quite frankly I had nothing to say.

We lasted exactly ONE service when our new pastor started his deviant teaching on what he felt marital relations should consist of and HOW they should be performed. We didn't hang around to "wait on the Lord for a release to leave" or try to change things from the inside. We walked out that morning and never returned. Several years later the people (nearly all of them) who stayed have pretty much bought into his idea's. We consider such blatantly false teaching to be reason enough, as well as a "release" enough to leave -and wipe the dust from our feet as we walk out.
