Well...we will have to agree to see the scripture differently... I cannot imagine God calling me then damming me...

We are leaving now for the northeast...My son was so glad I preached last night and the alter was full of souls...thank the Lord for His spirit that was brooding over the souls...

Agree, "traditions will not judge us." Such as the traditions of "women preachers in the church", but Scripture will. "I do not allow a woman to teach, or to excercise authority over a man." I mean how muuuuuuch plainer does it get than this?????

But it is OK for a woman to go to a third world country and risk her life.

Aware of this. Bro. Adams respects you very much, as do I, but he also disagrees w/ the women preacher doctrine & he's one of the most scholarly men I know. He easily dismantled Scheel's book & endorsed my rebuttal book to Scheel's.

Blessings....................

More appeals outside of the biblical record, which have nothing to do w/ Scripture [e.g., I Tim. 2 & I Cor. 14].....will we just turn a blind eye to these Scriptures????

You mentioned "truth" earlier. "Thy W-O-R-D is truth."

Did God use the rock that Moses erroneously struck? Yes! Was it an endorsement of his actions? NO! Was Moses still wrong in his actions? Yes!

God will use the water of His Word for the greater cause of souls, this does not mean an endorsement of the messenger's doctrines, but rather the message itself as seen in the example of Moses.

Just for the record, my wife & I have helped to financially support the Alvear's in Brazil whenever we could, & would continue to do so. This is not an endorsement of their every doctrine, but rather a love for souls.

Not sure what sources you're using Jeffrey, but ther KJV & NKJV mention Aquilla & Priscilla 6 times, evenly split down the middle...just as I thought!
