The presence of the Lord was so awesome. We do not have a large crowd but it was incredible and the majority of those present were under 30.

That's both exciting and encouraging D&J!

I know he became independant. I would doubt he would abandon his Oneness beliefs after how he came to them.

Background. He was from my home church in Louisiana. He was so intent on going to Quebec, he did not teach his children English, only French.

John Thevenot is one of our ACOP pastors in Quebec. He has a work on the Idian Reserve as well as another French work.

You might want to get your shouting shoes on before you hit "play."

I'm sure Monkeyman is just feeling this music as he gets all pumped up for worship in the morning. It's time for the church to get back some of the talent it has put on the shelf until I'm sure the heart of God must surely have become sorely grieved. :killinme

Well, well, well, you're up kind of late for an old timer, aren't you?

Have you been taking that Geritol non-drowsy again?

This reminds me of Sunday night singing as a young person growing up on the Miramichi

Monkeyman 07-22-2007 05:06 AM

He he he! Too funny! You cats lost me on the first line of the song, "I was staaaaandin' bah my windooow"...you just DON'T do that where I'm from, you just might get shot!!!

And I'll have you know, I cut my teeth on the bass geetar with the T.G. Trio in 1984, toured Canada too! The songs were great, go back and forth between G & D, then on to D & A, thrown in a C and maaaan yous (mirimichi word) got a soong!!!!
