I saw this on another thread, and couldn't believe it was true, so I went to UPCI.org and looked for myself. It's true. Is this happening in the Atlantic District?

This picture was taken at the Alabamas Ladies retreat. Sis Patty Twyman took down her hair to summon the power of the angels over the prayer requests. Many prayers were answered.

What a bunch of idolatry. What are they summoning the power of angels for?
This is dumb beyond belief!!!!! Sadly, it will probably be coming to a Ladies Retreat near you in the future.
Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair....
And then people criticize the Roman Catholic Church for having statues?

Heeeeee's back!

Welcome Frankie!

Fredericton was my hometown.

In the early eighties Marysville had just over 200; Life Tabernacle had about 220; and Union Street had approximately 80. After the "Life Tabernacle Revival" at Marysville, and the "amalgamation" of Union Street into the Marysville congregation, 500 must have been about right.

One thing that I really enjoyed about visiting a couple of UPC events held in Marysville this year was seeing so many of the Fredericton seniors who I have known most of my life. With the seniors that they have there, I can easily believe that they have some great prayer meetings. It was my privilege to spend Saturday evenings praying with many of them at Life Tabernacle as a teenager.

This stuff is absolutely unbelievable.

How can Spirit filled people participate in such silliness?

Well, an argument could be made that it would be even more effective if they cut their long hair off and packaged it up in some type of "holy magic hair" container and sent it all over to cause miracles!!

Sorry - this is all toooooo much - very scary! Leaning far too much towards occult/idols/icons/etc.......

If this starts happening in the A.D. I for one won't be long in letting our congregation know that it is not right! I can't believe this is actually taking place! Again I ask "what next?'

I forgot to add that, in those days, most of the Marysville congregation was from "over north" and spoke with Miramichi accents.
