I saw this on another thread, and couldn't believe it was true, so I went to UPCI.org and looked for myself. It's true. Is this happening in the Atlantic District?

This is dumb beyond belief!!!!! Sadly, it will probably be coming to a Ladies Retreat near you in the future. Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair.... And then people criticize the Roman Catholic Church for having statues? |

Welcome Frankie! Fredericton was my hometown. In the early eighties Marysville had just over 200; Life Tabernacle had about 220; and Union Street had approximately 80. After the "Life Tabernacle Revival" at Marysville, and the "amalgamation" of Union Street into the Marysville congregation, 500 must have been about right. One thing that I really enjoyed about visiting a couple of UPC events held in Marysville this year was seeing so many of the Fredericton seniors who I have known most of my life. With the seniors that they have there, I can easily believe that they have some great prayer meetings. It was my privilege to spend Saturday evenings praying with many of them at Life Tabernacle as a teenager. |

How can Spirit filled people participate in such silliness? |

If this starts happening in the A.D. I for one won't be long in letting our congregation know that it is not right! I can't believe this is actually taking place! Again I ask "what next?' |

I forgot to add that, in those days, most of the Marysville congregation was from "over north" and spoke with Miramichi accents. |
