Alberta needs to become the next "mission" field for the Atlantic District. :) There are so many young preachers who aren't going out into ministry anywhere. Someone needs to light a fire under them about reaching Canada with the gospel! My understanding from talking with HP is that the Alberta District wouldn't give him a transfer of credentials. He was told to keep his credential renewals through the Atlantic District. Now that he's the only UPC church, this shouldn't be a problem any longer.

Does anyone know if RR in New Westminster left the UPCI?

Hmmmm - that's interesting. A dose of Atlantic District style UPC in Alberta would be good for the UPC here - or not - depending on one's perspective.

I work with someone from Johnny King's church so have had several interesting discussions about all this Tulsa.....ization......

Originally from the west but we lived 17 years in NB, raised our kids there for the most part. Attended First UPC in SJ for a number of years.....

Monkeyman, you have never come across as a mean person to me up until now! I just finished reading the weather man's report in the Daily Gleaner in which he is saying that in general NB gets more than 30% of it's total accumulation of snow in March. He says we should expect more storms. Then I open this thread and here you are tormenting us with 70 degree weather reports. Shame on you! :)

Actually we are house sitting for Deborah's sister and husband who are in Florida for almost three weeks. So I get the same thing from them.
