Shag, I wrote this for Bowas. I want you to see why I am so hard on you preterists.
Mike is looking for any scriptural loophole to call our savior a liar regarding the Tree of Life. I am simply defending what Jesus said, verbatim, and Mike is trying DESPARATELY to "counter" the very words of Jesus and "PROVE" that Jesus did not mean there is a Tree of Life in existence..this is not about me at all here. Mike is fighting the words of Jesus with all he has got!

Here is a post explaining what I feel about all this...

Bowas, simple...

"My wrong" represents blind, simple, faith in what we all read. I cannot be held accountable for not figuring out what these "riddles" are.

"Your wrong" represents voluntary deceit of what the passage is trying to clearly say.


Misrepresenting the word of God is ALWAYS salvational Bowas. Even 1 lie against the Word of God to deceive others will destroy our souls and those that believe us.

Thats why we must debate these issues with all we have...our souls are facing damnation here.

In my evaluation, teachers of false doctrine are heading to hell. I am willing to shed any traditional religious belief(presupposition) to be right with God.

Preterism calls Jesus a liar regarding the Tree of Life passages I presented. That would be all I need to abandon that stuff and keep searching for the truth.

Rev. 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God......

Rev 22:22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations....

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Sean, you cannot be that ridicuclous.

Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

To make your stand you are saying the same thing as calling Jesus a liar if you say He is not actually a lamb with seven eyes an horns. You deny immortality as well.

These exposed lies of the preterists will not stop them from teaching this stuff.

This is hard core.

I would rather not have an opinion on a matter, than to teach these preterist lies, thinking that teaching prophecy wrong is not a salvation issue.

This "not a salvation issue" concept is the dumbest thing I ever heard in Christianity.
