But another thing...if a woman is in the park telling all who are within earshot about Jesus and Him crucified, is she preaching and therefore wrong? And let me know how you will justify to God that women shouldn't obey Matt 28:19. |

Do you know the definition of 'preach'? It's not, 'to scream, shout, or proclaim with a voice loud enough to silence airplanes that Jesus is Lord, tell a story like a parable, or invent your own interpretations of scripture while slobbering, sweating, stomping, and saying 'uh' after each syllable.' Funny...Mary et al. telling about the resurrection of Jesus to the disciples isn't preaching, but get a loudmouth sweaty male preacher behind a pulpit in a building with four walls and a roof saying the exact same words and he's preaching!!! |

H1....Just curious? Where would you fit Anna the Prophetess into this?..... Luke 2 Notice it says that she spake of him to all them that looked for redemption. When I looked spake up in Strongs this is what I found...... Spake: Strongs Concordance Def......laleo lal-eh'-o A prolonged form of an otherwise obsolete verb; to talk, that is, utter words: - preach, say, speak (after), talk, tell, utter. Compare G3004 Luke 2:36, 37, 38. And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel of the tribe of Aser; she was of a great age and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity. And she was a widow of about four score and four..years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayer night and day. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem. |

However, RDP and those who believe otherwise will tell you she didn't 'preach', nor were there men present in the temple, and that as a prophetess, she only spoke about future events, which don't count. |

Re: Can Women Pastor ?
surely there were men looking for redemption...if it would have been only women I think the Bible would have said she spoke to the women...doesn't sound like to me she was off in a corner knitting...
