I guarantee you there is more to that story.

Most likely. However, I can see it happening as described in a time when the liberals and conservatives were in the same organization. We are living in a different day now, thank God. I think Pastors are more careful about who they have fill their pulpits and generally know what a man believes before he comes.

It’s settled.:highfive

Ndavid and me. There’s two witnesses. So you’re right. It’s settled. . . . And you’re using a scripture reference out of its intended context.

Different day for sure....of making up rules, attempting to rewrite and add to the Bible. What a disgrace. Post scripture that supports each of ALL your rules(along with a few commentators that agree with you would be good), or erase those rules.

Flatlining indeed.

It’s agsinst the law to shoot up w heroin, and Rom. 13:1-2 says to obey the laws.

Not to mention our body is the temple, that we’re not to defile (1 Cor.3:17), and anyone on the planet older than 6 years old could tell you breaking the law shooting up with heroin is bad for our body.

Your turn.

lol ok if it wasn’t against the law then we are fine..... just in moderation it shouldn’t mess up your body so we will be good.

What is herion?

I think this is what we should abide by, (it is from the Bible).

Deuteronomy 4
[2] Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

If you believe jewelry is sinful, state your case. Quote scripture, in context if possible.

:thumbsup

God is certainly pro-jewelry. I must confess, I don’t wear it. I need to do better.

Pantsuits: pants on men and at least mid calf length skirts or dresses on ladies. Pantyhose on the ladies are preferred. Also, no splits in the skirts.

Jewelry: no gold, silver or pearls. No finger rings, toe rings, ear rings or nose rings. Watches should be simple and not have the appearance of gold, silver, diamonds or pearls.

Makeup: No makeup of any kind.

Of course, you can do ALL the above and if don't have Jesus on the inside, you are still lost. Some of the biggest devils we are fighting in the church today are dressed in "holiness". Pray through, pray through, pray through. Clean the inside and make the outside presentable to a Holy God.

Put genuine scripture (and some supportive commentary would be nice) along side your new improved rules of religion. Start w sleeves below the elbow.

Shooting up w Heroin...that’s great. Gradeschoolers even know it’s wrong, illegal, and harmful to the body.

This was pre-affirmation statement, so yes, there were libs and cons in same org.
