Re: Serious Weight Problem

I used a meal replacement shake in times past. I did light cardio and I dropped some weight. I couldn't tell you how much because I didn't buy a scale. I will say that my gut used to hang over my belt... After the cycle I was able to see my belt again. :)

Last summer I began walking 2-4 miles 5-6 days/wk at the park. In one month I lost 5 pounds. I didn't change anything in my diet which consists of burgers and soda. I stopped walking because the summer got too hot.

I need to get back to doing something. I gained a lot of weight since then. My bp is in a constant state of crisis mode, like I need to be in the E.R.
I was given meds that were like a miracle drug. I began to sleep better. I would get through my work shift without getting sleepy half way through. I ran out of meds. I haven't returned to see the doc because I have gained a few pounds since my last visits.

For better sleep at night: ZMA. It's over the counter, you'll find it at GNC more likely than anywhere else.

Nugenix PM ZMA Testosterone Support. It's vitamin B6, Zinc, and Magnesium. It helps you actually sleep. It's not something that makes you sleepy, necessarily, but it makes your sleep more productive (more restful). Getting sleepy at work is a sign of bad sleep at night. You may go to sleep (or not!) but it's not a deep sleep, so you don't actually get any rest. Thus, you are prone to getting sleepy throughout the day. Your body is trying to tell you what it needs.

Also, sleep apnea will contribute to the problems as well.

Too much electronic em fields will also disturb your sleep. Try limiting time spent in the presence of cell phones, wi-fi, LCD screens, etc. Turn everything OFF when you go to bed. If you need a phone on in case of emergency calls put it as far away from your bed as possible.

Also, if you have a smart meter (look it up) they have been known to interfere with sleep patterns and neurological activity because of the em fields they generate within the home.

Sleep has been a lot better since I got out of EMS. Tons of less work related stress and blood pressure has dropped to healthy levels...It was getting super high.

I sleep during the day. I got out of work at 8am. It's 4:13pm and I'm just now laying down. I'll be up at 10 or 10:30pm.
