Apostolic Friends Forum - Whaaaaaaatt???? What's happening in Canada??

Ok, tell me this...why does a baptism rip me up and make me cry like a schoolgirl???? Holy smokes, whenever I see one I just melt inside. Yesterday was beautiful and last night when the "Tuesday Bible Study Group" joined her on the platform to see her baptized, get the Holy Ghost, and then hug her, man, I lost it!!!!!! It was like a whole new congregation walked up there...woooooo, 50 folks gonna get the Holy Ghost and join His family this coming weekend fo sho!!!!

This is SO wonderful Monk...it's posts such as I have read on this thread last night and today which bring joy to the heart and put a spring in a tired step.

It's so nice to attend a church where people are being baptized in water and receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost on a regular basis.

ahhh ok! just a tad bit confused there I was LOL :) thanks for the clarification

Someone told me as I didnt get to go yesterday but I heard they baptized 4 more.. So I think we have about 35 this year so far at our church! God is good!!! Its exciting to read what He is doing in Canada also!!!

I would say it's definitely a normal happening. But our church is in a season right now.. a harvest season.

We are handing out invites to the Friday concert to all UNB residence students.. 1200 fliers.

I hope I can get there, I haven't asked for babysitting yet.

AND I CLARIFY.. I'd like to get my brother in law and family to it.. otherwise I'd stay home... since I've already had to replace 3 hearing aids!!!!!!
