Thank you, Elder...this warms my heart.

I heard Celine sing this for the first time right after 9/11...they had a memorial/telethon for the families of the victims and she sang this as I had never heard it sung before.

Everytime it came on the radio, I had to stop whatever I was doing because it moved me so. My young nieces finally just gave up and bought the CD for me.

The girl is tremendous...

These days I just butcher the English language on forums, in between coon hunting and preaching the occasional sermon, but back in the days when I used to teach English to 11th and 12th graders, I always had my students memorize Macbeth's soliloquy.

One of the finest the Bard ever wrote.

In the spirit of trying to help increase posts on this thread I have a question:

During visits to family around Boston we would get these hot dogs called "Maple Leaf." They were linked together. They were GOOD!

Can they still be found up there and if so where?

I'll be up that way in a couple weeks, Lord willing, and would be glad to get ahold of some.

Barb, I didn't mean to put anyone in their place. I didn't choose my words well. I was using the word "waste" in the context of missing out on the wonderful weather by being stuck inside on the internet. I didn't mean to say one is wasting their time simply because they are on the internet.

I enjoyed reconnecting with friends and former colleagues in the ministry while on vacation. However, I'm not so sure we should continue this association. As you can see by her av, Felicity's appearance has taken on a drastic transformation after only a few days of UPC fellowship, and it's not good!:winkgrin It's as if she went into shock after 10 years of absence from the UPC. :)
