Sister Agnes Rich (whom I counted very dear in this life.)
Sister Oma Ellis great woman Apostle who started many churches.
Sister Marie Lafleur a fantastic French woman Apostle who helped spread the
gospel among the Acadian's in Louisiana.
Sister Wilma Nix a great woman Apostle who brought the Gospel to places that barely had ever seen a white woman.

I am glad they answered the call and bore the example regardless of hatred,
hate mail or evil speaking against them.
Keep on Sister Alvear. Hell is too full and Heaven needs more saints than
it now possesses.

And what does any of this have to do w/ the very plain language of I Tim. 2:11-15 & I Cor. 14:34??????

Not hardly.........................

You bypassed all the things the Brothers posted to you to answer my little comment. Forget it. I want to see you
answer those things first.

Well, I'm not so sure it's "so clear" with regard to "gold, costly array" etc.

That's the problem It takes examination of context. What was the problem he is addressing? Then step back, and look at the big picture -- what is Paul's message? Get further like that, rather than staring a centimeter away from the page.

Can you interact ONE TIME with evidence? talk about it?

Do you just copy/paste this little statement in reply to everyone?

You're like talking to a brick wall. Your poor kids!

I see, & they aren't just repeating themselves over & over? Go back & look at the posts from the beginning Jeffrey. They just spout the same ol' thing ad nauseum. I don't have the time to just sit here all day & repeat myself.

Besides, I was out of town when I saw that post at a hotel computer. And I did address the masculine of Junias & that Bauer's says that it absolutely cannot be known for sure whether the individual was a man or woman. But the masculine tips the scales towards a man.

Oh brother, here we go again. I simply quote an observation by a very scholarly man among us & now it's suddenly "ignorant"?????? Yea' reeeeeeeal "Christian" Jeffrey.

What a stupid thing to say. Shall we do an IQ test on all who are for and all who are against? Didn't think so...

Speaking of "stupid" things to say, what does "an IQ test" have to do w/ the Bible????????????? I see you're at it again o' "scholarly one"!

Will deal w/ Prax soon [when I have time] since his arguments are nothing new, Jeffrey cannot have a civil discussion w/out using terms like "stupid" & "ignorant", yet he's the great "exegete"???? Besides, I go in order.

Puhleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzeeee.................... ..

It was ignorant. You can judge if that's Christian or not.

If a scholar said that (name him), he just lost scholarly points. To say there is any consensus among New Testament scholars on this subject is naive at best.

It was a stupid thing to say. Get over it. You dish it out just as well.

I didn't call you stupid or ignorant, but whoever you quoted surely was.

I'm not the "great exegete" and never claimed it. Thought I was quite clear about that. I have some experience there, but am far from the AFF expert. I know just enough to smell Bologna Sandwiches from a mile away.

What we need when studying the word is to understand to whom Paul was speaking and why. Consider the time and the culture they were in, and never take a verse out of context
