Re: Can Women Pastor ?

I believe most everyone deep down really knows the answer to this. It's just, by attempting to keep it going perhaps they can convince themselves and/or others the correct Biblcal answer is changed.
Why does this subject keep coming up forum after forum in these last days? I think the answer is obvious, just look at the secular world and one will find the same struggles for "equality". Unfortunately, the secular world has nearly achieved this so called "equality" and now it has crept into the church. Is it any wonder why our children are confused as the man is relegated to an imbecile so often (not in the church...yet), but no real distinction of the different and separate roles of the woman and the man. Sad.

believing that a woman can preach does not mean that she is not under the man...I spoke at church tonight and I obey my husband and try to be an example to thousands of our ladies.

Amen Sister Alvear. There will always be opinions. Don't let it get you down. Keep doing the will of Jesus for your life.

"The will of Jesus" is to obey His Word...including I Tim. 2:11-15. No matter how hard you try to explain it away, it's still there in black & white. Think I'll appeal to the Bible for the "will of Jesus".

I could provide you gentlemen with a name and contact info for a MALE pastor that would blow your personal interpretations of scripture regarding women preachers/pastors away completely. But I'd be wasting my time. Because you don't want to hear, much less know and accept, the truth.

God bless all the men that have supported and continue to support women preachers and pastors. We certainly need the support just as male preachers need the support of their brethren.

Their mind is made up and not even Jesus could change them....except the day HE says well done to the lady workers...that day will tell the story..

Hmm. Interesting conclusion. The view I adhere to, comes from a direct read from the Bible without having to twist or make exceptions to the Word as written and it is somehow a "personal interpretation" Could it be possible, your sources view is of a "personal interpretation?" oh well, God is still good to all of us.

Yes or No ? What say ye ?

The Bible does not prescribe for a woman to be used in the office of Pastor.

If a woman is there, it's hard to say she is being used by God in that role when God never ordained a woman to be Pastor.

So I am not sure who's using her if she's there.
