Did you not understand I quoted you when I said your statement was wrong?!?!! Please don't answer my question. You are too confused and I am tired of reading all your run-on words. BTW, there is a space button on your keyboard. This is the end of my dialogue with you.

Good

Oh boy that's a good one,you counsel.

I think also that women do not think about sex in the same light as men. Women, for the most part, look at the act of sex as intimacy between two caring people in a committed relationship and they give physically to receive love. Men often times 'pretend' to give love in an effort to seduce a woman to the sex act.

Women, for the most part, could care less about looking at other men naked whereas men seem to get a thrill from looking at other women whether they act on it or not.

In counseling couples about watching porn together, most times the woman feels dirty and that the man is being unfaithful, whereas the man sees it as a precurser to some good sex with his wife. This is a fact although not Biblical.

The Bible tells married men to be satisfied with the wife of his youth and only take pleasure in her breasts.

If you think most women think like you,you have alot to learn.

I really have never understood this fascination. If you have a wife, why not just look at HER naked??????? That's probably a question you can't answer...LOL!!!

Your doing good,counsel the counseler.

Let's reverse this...when/why do women lust? Is it because the man has a cute butt in his tight jeans with his pantiline showing? At JCM we had a few men who were preachers who dressed like this. It never illicited lust in me.. I thought it gross that they would even presume to think that was cute or sexy.

At the risk of looking like I am :stirpot (not my intention)

I am curious about something.
While I do believe that there is some truth in the statement that a man with a lustful heart will likely lust no matter what apparel a woman wears, I also feel that what people wear does have bearing on temptation, and drawing attention to areas of the body that incite lust.

Do you like chocolate? :thebunny I do.
I also like little white powdered doughnuts.
Now if my wife or I don't buy powdered doughnuts, I can go for several weeks without feeling the urge for a powdered doughnut.
But buddy, you set that bag on the counter and I guarantee you it wont be there in 48 hours time for sure.

The doughnuts are always available for me to look at, lust after and consume anytime I want, I just have to go get em.
But when they are bared in all their glory through that little plastic see through window on the bag, right there on the counter.......:thebunny:itsover

I am getting the impression that you are of the opinion that it doesnt matter what a woman wears. She could be wearing a dress so tight if she had a quarter in her pocket you could see if it were heads or tails. Her split could be up to her waist and the neckline determined to meet it. She could have more curves than 400 miles of mountain back roads, and showing them for all the world to see....... AND YET STILL she is completely blameless
when guys look and lust.

Am I reading you wrong? If so I apologize. This is the impression I am getting.

If I tell my wife that I want to lose 5 or 10 pounds so I'm going on a diet.
It would be wrong of her to go buy a bag of those evil, little white powdered doughnuts, and come set them on my nightstand with that little see through window in all its glorious view.
Yeah, I'd be wrong for eaten em since I should be taking care of my body and need to lose weight.
But she would not be completely blameless either.

The Bible says to dress in modest apparel for a reason. I think part of it is because God knows how he created men. He knows that even a man not typically given to sinful lust is certainly far more tempted to give in to lustful imaginations thoughts or deeds if the object of lust is bared right on front of his eyes.

I have not overcome lust.

I totally relate to the little white powdered sugar donuts!

Lust - desire - partake of and they are fully clothed in powdered sugar!!!!

Yeah, isn't it amazing that the very same Book that tells us that we can resist the devil and he will have to flee from us, also tells us to flee youthful lust.
